I feel so free right now!! I quit my rinky dink job tonight at this grocery store because they tried to make me work an extra hour, and threatened to fire me if I didn't. They did it to several other people too, who backed down and agreed to work the extra hour. I'm the only one that stood up to them!! Not that the extra hour would have been a big deal, but the fact they told me upfront when I turned them down they'd fire me if I didn't work it, was the main issue for me. The good thing is I have a big interview for a job in the field that I went to school for, which is coming up in early January, and I'm already working two smaller jobs that would help me get through Christmas. I'm not worried at all. This might sound weird, but that job at the store was a lot like the Shawshank Redemption, which is my all-time favorite movie. Most of those people there have given up hope of ever moving on from there, but I surprised everyone by walking out!! I'm really weird, aren't I?!?
